The house was very large and provided a lot of space for two families to get together but also have privacy. The kids loved the pool, the movie room, the game room, and mini golf at the front of the community. The kitchen was great and had everything we needed for cooking pretty big meals. The property manager was always quick to respond and very helpful. Plus, the house is just a very short drive from lots to do in Pigeon Forge. This is a great place to stay!

Grace A. - 11/10/2023Super nice cabin with great amenities. We all enjoyed the arcade games/pool/shuffleboard in the loft and the hot tub and pool in the basement. The hosts were kind and quick to respond to our issues. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, plates, bowls, and cups but lacked any spices, oils, foil, parchment paper, etc. It's not a big deal but it's good to keep in mind so you can avoid multiple trips to the grocery store. There also was no laundry detergent but the host was so kind to bring us some. Overall a great cabin and we would definitely stay again.
Amy C. - 10/09/2023Fall break 2023 Splashing Bear lodge was great! It had everything we needed. We had 5 adults and 6 kids from 1-16 and there was enough room and activities for everyone! Views are amazing! Beds were comfy. Game room and movie room are awesome. The pool alarm was a little hard to figure out initially but we got the hang of it and definitely glad of it for the little kids. Between the alarm and the lock on the pool door we felt the little kids were safe. Steps into the hot tub would have been great but just a minor inconvenience. Location was great not as remote as some cabins we’ve stayed at in the area. Slight issues with the wifi one day but it was resolved quickly. Overall we had a wonderful fall break!

Just too hot for hot tub. 90's all week! Perfect outdoor pool weather! Gaming room and theater room were a hit! Lot's to do in the area and beyond. Our Hosts were very responsive. We arrived through the back gate which we weren't aware of. Main gate is by pool area. Gate numbers were changed! Other than that it was all perfect! And yes we saw a bear in our neighborhood in broad daylight!

Great location, not to far up the mountain, close to everything. A turtle greeted us on the porch one morning and we saw a momma bear and her babies on the road right out front of the cabin as we loaded up to return home. Notes: One of the bedrooms does not have a clothes closet.

This cabin was the perfect fit for our family of 11 with 6 adults, one teen, three young children, and one toddler. It was great to have the heated pool in the house for an exceptionally cool Memorial Day Weekend and even better that the kids could go swim whenever they wanted (without us having to worry about sunscreen). I really appreciated the safety measures for the pool- it has both a door with an access code as well as an alarm in the pool itself that alerts you when someone gets in the water (when armed). We had a couple minor things in the house that needed to be addressed, but any issue we had was handled super-quickly and efficiently. The most surprising highlight was having karaoke in the theatre room. I could not have predicted how much fun us adults would have singing karaoke after all the kids went to bed! The location is great. You still feel surrounded by mountains even when you're only a few minutes from everything in Pigeon Forge. We loved our stay and highly recommend the Splashin' Bear Lodge!

Communication from start to finish was amazing. Tons of space and amenities. I mentioned needing a toaster and one was on my doorstep soon after. We didn’t need all of the utensils but the drawers and cabinets were stocked very well if you did. That’s not always the case when we travel. Highly recommended.

It was very clean on arrival. Would stay here again! Tip: Make sure you have the entry codes before you get out of Sevierville. Cell service gets a little spotty so you will want the codes before you lose coverage since they are texted the day of arrival.

Very safe for kids, we just made sure we were right there with them. The community pool and miniature golf was also fantastic. Lots of room for families to join in a cooling off from afternoon events. The beds were wonderful, and the home was well furnished, a bit warn, but all clean and very usable. I would return in a heartbeat!

We spent a lot of time in Gatlinburg exploring everything they had to offer. A few electrical problems upon arrival but maintenance popped in throughout the day to fix it.

Bridget K. - 12/18/2021Absolutely amazing. This cabin was everything they promised and more. It was beautiful and had almost every item I needed in the kitchen. There were 14 of us (9 adults and 5 kids) and everyone had plenty of room and they said it was the best family vacation they have ever taken. There were a few minor things that needed attention( pool cues needed new tips and the media room was missing a cord) and it was fixed the next morning. She was so easy to work with. A couple of things I wish I had known before was that there is barely any cell reception. Had wifi and could get online and a text would send and receive - eventually but could not make a phone call. (I did not have any problem with this as it kept the kids and grandkids only their phones lol) and thr road is very narrow and winds a lot. You also don't get cell reception at the gate. My son had to drive a few miles away to the the text info for the gate from me. These were not the fault of the owner but maybe if they sent the info a couple of hours before it would help. Otherwise it was perfect.

The pool was big enough for all of us, and it wasn’t deep. This cabin had all the amenities that you need. We only book for 3 nights and wish we would have book longer just because we never got bored. The staff also communicated with us daily just in case we needed anything. Definitely recommend this cabin and will be coming back.

We had 8 adults and 9 children and the kids loved the theater, pool and game room The cabin was well stocked and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook all of our meals. Whenever we contacted the managers about questions , our needs were met quickly. Our 3 adult children and their spouses felt it was the best house we ever rented. We had an awesome time ! One recommendation would be a larger grill to accommodate that many people. Everything was great though !

The pool and hot tub were the highlight for the kids. It truly is a beautiful cabin. My 4 year old wants to come back in April to the same place and have her birthday there. The management was quick to answer any questions we had via text or any issues that came up. Only minor issue was the pool was not heated yet when we checked in on Friday, that was due to maintenance of the pool prior to our arrival. It did finally heat up the following day. Also, the pool has an alarm, totally missed the sign about that. I recommend including the pool alarm issue in the check in form so people know to look for the sign to shut off alarm. We were so excited we never saw the sign about the alarm. But it all worked out! Will book again when we return,
